ARCHITECTURE
No 33 Bedford Street is a single storey house constructed in brickwork with a hipped and gable corrugated iron roof. It is a fine expression of the Federation Bungalow style. The front elevation is symmetrically planned with a full width, return bull nose roofed verandah. The verandah is set on turned timber posts with a gable marking the entry. The verandah has been extended to the north to act as a carport. There is a central door and hopper light flanked by side lights and double hung sash windows. The roofscape features a render capped chimney.

1943 Minister Hurt. Thirty-four-year-old Methodist minister Frank Wilmot of 33 Bedford Street, East Fremantle, was severely injured about 10 a.m. today when a bicycle he was riding collided with a motor truck. Mr. Wilmot was admitted to Fremantle Hospital suffering from a possible fractured pelvis, lacerations to the face, concussion and an injury to the spine. He was cycling down Osborne Road, East Fremantle when his machine collided at the corner of Canning Highway with a motor truck driven by Jack F. Strother of Jandakot. (reference)
