Part of the 1st Prize winners recipe 12 Jan 1930 Sunday Times (reference)
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups of water
½ cup each of lemon and orange juice
1 bottle of ginger ale
a small bunch of mint
1 ½ cups of weak tea (strained)
1 ½ cups sugar
Method:
Tie the mint in a piece of cheesecloth and boil with water and sugar for 5 minutes
Cool and remove the mint
Add fruit juices, ginger ale and tea
Freeze and serve in tall glasses
