Federation / Inter-War Bungalow w Federation Influences
No 27 Oakover Street is a single storey house constructed in tuck-pointed brick and rendered brick with a hipped and gable corrugated iron roof. It is a fine expression of the Inter-War Bungalow style. It is asymmetrically composed with a full width return bull-nosed verandah. The verandah is supported on timber posts with brackets and a decorative timber frieze. The front door is located on the north elevation under the return verandah. A rondel window is located at the end of the verandah. The front facade features a set of casement windows and a corner suite. There are render string courses and the windows have decorative sills.
