Inter-War, Diagonal Plan Porch House Bungalow w Arts & Crafts Influence
No 71 Fortescue Street is a single storey house constructed in brick and rendered brick with a hipped and gable tiled roof. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with a thrust gable bay and a part width broken back and gable roofed verandah. The verandah is supported on timber columns set on rendered piers. A rendered balustrade spans between the piers. The verandah terminates at the gabled thrust bay. The half-timbered gable bay features a bay window. The bay window has casement windows under a sunhood.
