ARCHITECTURE
Inter-War
Californian Bungalow
No 29 Walter Street is a single-storey house constructed in brick and rendered brick with a hipped and gable tiled roof. It is an expression of the Inter-War Porch style. It is asymmetrically composed with a half-timbered gable roofed porch. The porch sits proud of the house and is supported on square piers. A rendered balustrade spans between the piers. There is a central door flanked by sets of casement lead light windows. The windows are protected by shallow tiled awnings. The roofscape features a brick chimney. The front walls are rendered with a face brick band below sill level.
