Federation Villa w Filigree Influences
No 29 Fraser Street is a single storey house constructed in brick with a hip and gable corrugated iron roof. It is a simple expression of the Federation Bungalow style. The Federation Filigree period detailing has been fitted in retrospect. There is some evidence including the low gable pitch that suggests the place was built c1920. It is asymmetrically composed with a thrust gable bay and a part width return bullnose roofed verandah. The verandah is supported on timber posts with a frieze and post brackets. The gable bay features a set of casement windows under a sun hood. There is a central door flanked by groups of double hung sash windows.
