Inter-War Half Hip Porch House w Arts & Crafts Influences
No 23 Oakover Street is a single storey house constructed in tuck-pointed brick and rendered brick with a hipped and gable tiled roof. It is an expression of the Inter-War California Bungalow style. It is asymmetrically composed with an offset gabled roofed porch. The porch is supported on square columns set on piers. There is a central door flanked by casement windows. Lower walls are face brick and upper walls are rendered. The roofscape features finials.
