A brief History of Stratford street

Named after Susannah Gwyther Easton, nee Stratford, the wife of Walter Easton.

The eastern part of Richmond was originally owned by prominent landowners the  Eastons, and street names Easton, Walter, Stratford, Gill and Morgan ( later changed to Osborne) were named after them.
