1903 Stewed Onions

Ingredients:

  • Some rather small onions

  • salt and pepper

  • 4 oz (120g)

Method:

  1. Peel onions and put into an earthen jar with a lid.

  2. Sprinkle pepper and salt over the onions and add butter

  3. Cover closely and cook in a hot oven for 2 hours.
