Inter-War / Bungalow w Federation Influences
No 9 Petra Street is a single storey house constructed in brick with a hipped and gable corrugated iron roof. It is a fine expression of the Inter-War Bungalow style. It is asymmetrically composed with a full width return hip roofed verandah. The verandah is supported on timber posts with post brackets and a shallow frieze. A gable is located centrally on the verandah and marks the entry. A central door is flanked by sets of double hung sash windows. Windows have rendered sills.
