ARCHITECTURE

Federation , Bungalow with Georgian Influences

No. 76 (previously was no. 112) East street is a single storey house constructed in limestone and brick with a hipped corrugated iron roof. It is a simple expression of the Federation Bungalow style. The front elevation is symmetrically planned with a central door and hopper light flanked by sidelights and double hung sash windows. The facade features a full width bullnose roofed verandah. The verandah is supported on timber posts with decorative brackets. A vertical baluster pattern balustrade spans between the posts. There is a long timber framed stair leading down to the garden. All openings have brick quoins.
