Inter-War Half Hip Porch House w Arts & Crafts Influences

No 74 Oakover Street is a single storey house constructed in limestone and rendered brick with a hipped and gable tiled roof. It is an expression of the Inter-War Porch style. It is asymmetrically composed with an offset gable roofed porch. The half-timbered porch is supported on Tuscan columns set on rendered piers. A balustrade spans between the piers. The porch is flanked by sets of casement windows under tiled awnings. There is a central door flanked by a set of casement windows. The place sits on limestone foundations. The roofscape features a brick chimney. A set of masonry steps leads from the porch to the verandah.
