No 59 Dalgety Street is a single storey house constructed in brick and rendered brick with a hipped and gable tiled roof. It is a fine expression of the Inter-War Bungalow style. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with a gabled thrust bay and a hipped roof verandah. The verandah extends along part of the north elevation and is supported on timber posts. The thrust bay features lead light casement windows with a sunhood. Brickwork extends to window head height with the upper walls rendered. The roofscape features finials.

1928 The Late Mrs. Mary May Williams, wife of Mr.Rupert Charles Williams, chief wireless, operator of the s.s. Minderoo, passed away on August 6. Mrs Williams, who was 35 years of age, was born at Melbourne, but she had resided at North Fremantle for 27 years, and since her marriage three years ago, at Dalgety street, East Fremantle. She was a foundation member of the North Fremantle Tennis Club, and on account of her genial disposition was very popular and had made a large circle of friends. The funeral cortege moved from the residence of her father, Mr. Francis Coe, Pearse-street, North Fremantle, on Wednesday, August 8, and proceeded to St. Patrick's Church, thence to the Fremantle Cemetery. 1945 Road Crash. Two Men Hurt. Thomas Wallace Thomson (about 55), of Applecross radio station, and Rupert Charles Williams (62), of Dalgety-street, East Fremantle, were injured in a motor car smash on Canning-highway about 3.40 pm on Tuesday. Thomson suffered concussion and abrasions and Williams head injuries...The injured men were conveyed in a St. John ambulance to the Perth Hospital. (reference)
