Simple Federation Bungalow
No 45 May Street is a single-storey house constructed in brickwork with a hipped and gable tiled roof. The place is symmetrically planned with a central door and hopper light flanked by sets of three casement windows. The facade features a full-width skillion roof verandah supported on stop chamfered timber posts. A render band runs at sill level on the front facade.
HISTORY
1942 Funeral. The friends of the late Mr Joseph Doyle, of 45 May street, East Fremantle, and formerly foreman of the East Fremantle Municipal Council, are respectfully informed that his remains will be interred in the Roman Catholic portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery. (reference)
