Federation / Federation Bungalow w Georgian Influences

No 33 Hamilton Street ‘'Parramatta’' is a single storey house constructed in limestone and brick with a hipped corrugated iron roof. It is a fine expression of the Federation Bungalow style. The front elevation is symmetrically planned with a full width return hip roofed verandah. The verandah is supported on steel posts. There is a central door and hopper light flanked by sidelights and casement windows. Walls are limestone and all quoins are brick.

1933 Mr. J. F. Allen’s  Death ...Adrian Henry Jones, chemist, who resides at 33 Hamilton-street, East Fremantle, said that about 11 p.m. on May 22 he saw deceased walking east along Cantonment-street from the direction of Market-street, Fremantle. Witness said good-night, but deceased did not reply. Although rain was falling deceased was carrying an unopened umbrella on his right arm. Deceased was a little unsteady in his gait... (reference)
