ARCHITECTURE
Federation / Interwar Queen Anne / Art Deco Influences
No. 32 (previously was no. 59) Sewell street is a single story shop and attached residence constructed in rendered and painted masonry with a hipped corrugated iron roof. It is a simple expression of the Federation Bungalow style with a plainly rendered shop. There have been extensive modifications. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned the shop on the south side and the house to the north side. The facade features a part width bull-nosed roofed verandah. The verandah has been enclosed with glazing. There is a central door located through an arch way. The shop front features an offset door flanked by a shop window.
