Inter-War Porch House Bungalow
No 31 May Street is a single-storey house constructed in rendered brick with a hipped tiled roof. It is an expression of the Inter-War Bungalow style. The place is asymmetrically planned with a thrust bay and part-width hipped roof verandah. The verandah is supported on rendered piers with a rendered balustrade running between piers. The thrust bay features a set of three casement windows with an awning above it. There is a central door flanked by a set of three casement windows.
