ARCHITECTURE
Late Victorian / Victorian Carpenter Gothic
No 31 (previously known as No 65) Hubble Street is a single story house constructed in timber framing and weatherboard cladding with a gabled corrugated iron roof. It is a simple expression of the Victorian Rustic Gothic style. The house is unusually sited at a right angle to the street. The place is symmetrically planned with a full width skillion roofed verandah supported on square timber posts. There are French doors along the verandah. A gable wall addresses the street. The gable features a single pane double hung sash window with sidelights and an elaborately carved bargeboard.
