Post War, Austerity Bungalow
No 27 (previously being No 55) Hubble Street is a single storey house constructed in timber framing, weatherboard and fibrous cement cladding with a hipped corrugated iron roof. The place is asymmetrically planned with a thrust bay and part width verandah. There is a central door flanked by a window. The thrust bay features an identical window. The windows have a central fixed pane and are flanked by double hung sash windows.
HISTORY
1912 The Friends of Mr. James Davidson Peter, shipwright, of the Fremantle Harbour Trust, are respectfully invited to follow the remains of his late beloved wife, Annie, to the place of interment, the Presbyterian portion of the Fremantle Cemetery. (reference)
