Inter-War Diagonal Plan Bungalow Porch House w Federation Influences
No 20 Oakover Street is a single storey house constructed in brick and rendered brick with a hipped and gable tiled roof. The place is located on a corner lot that addresses both Oakover Street and Millenden Street. It is asymmetrically composed with a thrust gable bay and a part width return hip roofed verandah. The verandah terminates at gable bays on both street elevations. It is supported on Tuscan columns set over piers. A rendered balustrade spans between the piers. A gable roof is located on the south side of the verandah. The gable bays features casement windows under sunhoods. There is a central door flanked by sidelights and a set of casement windows. The roofscape features tall rendered chimneys and finials.
