Federation / Interwar, Domestic Carpenter w Georgian Influence
No 19 Fraser Street is a single storey house constructed in timber framing and weatherboard cladding with an ‘M’ format corrugated iron roof. It is a simple expression of the Inter-War Bungalow style. It is symmetrically composed with a full width bullnose roof verandah. The verandah is supported on turned timber posts. There is a central front door flanked by casement and fixed light windows.
HISTORY
1917 Funeral. The Friends of the late Mrs. Margaret Maxwell, and mother of John Maxwell, of Loco. Shops, Midland Junction, and W. Maxwell, engine-driver Perth Locos., are respectfully requested to follow her remains to the place of interment, the Presbyterian portion of the Fremantle Cemetery. Caesar), Maggie, Will, Jack, Bob, Alick, father-in-law of J. Caesar, Jean, Ivy, Lizzie, Glad., uncle of Charles Sanders, granddad of Lily and Jack Caesar, Frank, Tom, Bonnie, Gladys and Betty Maxwell, only brother of the late William Maxwell, late engine-driver W.A.G.R... in his 68th year. Maggie Maxwell, who was disabled, was well known and well loved in the district.
1948 Death on June 17, 1946 passed peacefully away, Maggie, dearly loved daughter of Georgina and the late John Maxwell, loved sister of Mary (Mrs. J. Caesar), Will, Jack, Robert, and Alex.
