Ingredients:
1 pint (2 cups) of sieved fruit such as
strawberries or tinned fruit
Sugar to taste
2 tablespoons of cream
½ pint (300 mls) cold custard
Cochineal (red food coloring)
Method:
Rub fruit in sugar to taste then put through hair sieve
Mix fruit and cold custard with two drops of cochineal
Freeze then serve in custard glasses
