10 Bolton Street (map)
ARCHITECTURE
No 10 Bolton Street is a single storey house constructed in rendered limestone and rendered brick with a hipped and gable corrugated iron roof. A belvedere is located to the rear of the residence. It is a very fine expression of the Federation Filigree style. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with a thrust gable bay and a part width return bull nose roofed verandah. The verandah is supported on turned timber posts with a decorative frieze and post brackets. A vertical timber balustrade spans between the posts. A pair of single garages has been constructed under the verandah. The gable bay features decorative treatments and a bay window with double hung sash windows. There is a central door and hopper light flanked by sidelights and a corner suite.
