Austerity Influences
No 52A Fortescue Street is a single storey house constructed in rendered brick with a hipped tiled roof. It is a representative expression of the Post- World War II Austerity style. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with a thrust bay and a hip roofed part width verandah. There is a central door flanked by casement windows. The thrust bay features a casement under a tiled awning.
