ARCHITECTURE
Inter-War California Bungalow
No 17 Dalgety Street is a single storey house constructed in rendered brick with a hipped and gabled corrugated iron roof. It is a fine expression of the Inter-War California Bungalow style. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with a thrust gable bay and a half-timbered gabled entry porch. The porch is set on rusticated piers with a masonry balustrade. There is a central door flanked by casement windows. The thrust bay features a bay window under a sunhood. The roofscape features rendered chimneys.
