ARCHITECTURE

Inter-War, Bungalow w Federation Influences

No 16 Irwin Street is a single storey house constructed in tuck-pointed brick and rendered brick with a corrugated iron roof. It is a good expression of the Inter-War Bungalow style. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with a thrust bay and a part width skillion roofed verandah. The verandah is supported on timber posts. The thrust bay features casement windows under a sunhood. There is a central door and hopper light flanked by sidelights and casement windows. The roofscape features render capped chimneys. There are render bands running across the facade.
