ARCHITECTURE
Interwar Art Deco Bungalow Porch House
No 15 Fortescue Street is a single storey house constructed in rendered brick with a hipped corrugated iron roof. It is an expression of the Inter-War Porch with Post-Modern overlays. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with staggered wall planes. The front facade features sets of fixed and casement windows. A series of rendered brick planes have been set in front of the original house. This extends north to form a carport. There is an offset entry door that addresses Fortescue Street. The roofscape features a rendered chimney.
HISTORY
