Won third prize in the Sunday Times Recipe Contest (reference)
Ingredients:
1 oz ( 28 g) rock chocolate
1 lb ( 450 g) castor sugar
cold water
A little milk
Method:
Scrape chocolate to a powder and mix with sugar
Add enough cold water to mix this into a thick paste, stirring until smooth
Add a little milk
Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring all the while
Spread layers or drop small lumps on to greased paper and let stand to cool
