A brief History of OSBORNE ROAD

Previously known as Morgan St.

The eastern part of Richmond was originally owned by prominent landowners the Eastons (1850s to the 1890s), and street names Easton, Walter, Stratford, Gill and Morgan ( later changed to Osborne) were named after them.

The street name was changed to commemorate a well known East Fremantle family, especially Mrs Ivy Antoine Osborne- Miss Ivy Osborne was ladies' captain of East Fremantle Tennis Club 1928
