A brief History of GILL street

Named after Selina Gill, the mother of Walter Easton.

The eastern part of Richmond was originally owned by prominent landowners the Eastons (1850s to the 1890s), and street names Easton, Walter, Stratford, Gill and Morgan ( later changed to Osborne) were named after them.
