1927 St Peter's Church, East Fremantle, West Australia, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Saturday, April 16, when Thelma, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. Osborne, of Cornwall, England, was united in holy matrimony to Charles, youngest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. R. Cary, of Cornwall, England. The bride, who was given away by Mr G. Cary, looked charming in a dainty frock of ivory georgette embroidered in silver… (reference)
1939 Four men were also convicted of having obstructed pedestrian traffic, and were fined the amounts stated: Albert Charles Watts (39), bread carter, in respect of Queen Victoria-street, Fremantle, £2, with 4/6 cost. (reference)
