Federation / Villa w Regency Influences
No. 76 (previously was no. 148) King Street is a single storey cottage constructed in limestone and brick quoins with a hipped corrugated iron roof. It is a well-designed expression of the Federation Bungalow style. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with an offset thrust bay. The thrust bay features three casement windows. The facade features a full width bullnose roofed verandah supported on stop chamfered timber posts over a timber floor. There is a central door and hopper light that is flanked by a window. All openings have brick quoins.

1950 Death on June 2, at her residence, 76 King-street, East Fremantle, Lorna Margaret, dearly beloved wife of William James (Jim) Culver and loved mother of Ron, Hilary, Kevin and Val. Privately interred in the Roman Catholic portion of the Fremantle Cemetery. (reference)
1951 The engagement is announced of Hilary May, eldest daughter of Mr. W. J. Culver and the late Mrs. Culver, 76 King street, East Fremantle, to Alistair Ian Hall, second son of Mrs. A. E. Hall and the late Mr. J. Hall, Fordyce, Scotland. (reference)
