No. 70 Allen Street, constructed 1938- is a single storey house constructed in rendered brick with a hipped tiled roof. It is an expression of the Inter-War Bungalow style. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with a thrust bay and part width skillion roofed verandah. The verandah is supported on tapered concrete columns and brick piers. The thrust bay features a set of casement windows. There is a central door flanked by a set of casement windows.
