Gable Cottage with Regency Influences
No. 63 (previously was no. 129) Sewell street is a single story house constructed in rendered brick with a gable corrugated iron roof. It is a fine expression of the Federation Bungalow style. The front elevation is asymmetrically planned with a gable thrust bay and a full-width skillion roofed verandah. The verandah is supported timber posts over a timber floor. The gable bay features decorative barges and double hung sash windows. There is a central door and hopper lights flanked by sidelights and a window. The window is a double hung sash window flanked by sidelights.
HISTORY
