HISTORY

William Ross Letchford, William Raymonds father ran the Aerated Water and Cordial Manufacturers at Hampton-road Fremantle- ‘W. Letchford’.

1952 Walking-Talking dolls that moved their heads, and dancing ballerina musical boxes were brought back to little Australian friends by Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Letchford, of Fremantle, when they returned, with their daughter Denyse, from a six-month European tour. Their treasures, stuffed into enormous piles of luggage, included a beautiful white sari interwoven with threads of pure silver; and a novelty clock in which the pendulum represented a boy and girl on swings.
