No. 18 (previously was no. 36) Hubble street is a single storey cottage constructed in limestone and brickwork with a hipped and gabled corrugated iron roof. It is asymmetrically planned with a gabled thrust bay and part width hip roofed verandah. The verandah is supported on fluted concrete stanchions set on piers. There is a central door and hopper light flanked by sidelights and double hung sash windows. The thrust gable bay has a set of casements under a sun hood. All reveals have brick quoins. There is a parapet wall along the southern lot boundary.
