ARCHITECTURE
Inter-War, Bungalow Porch House Arts & Crafts Art Deco Influences
No. 150 (previously was no.) Marmion street is a single-storey house constructed in rendered brick with a hipped and gable tiled roof. It is an expression of the Inter-War Porch style. The front elevation is symmetrically planned with a central door flanked by sets of casement windows. The front facade features a curved skillion roofed porch supported on rendered columns. The porch is likely a replacement. Concrete steps lead from the porch to the garden. The roofscape features a rendered chimney. Openings have stone quoins. The place retains its form and most of its details. The lot has been subdivided and amalgamated. A residence has been built to the rear that addresses Irwin Street.
